RÄKFROSSA “SHRIMP FEVER”

Finding an unrecognised shrimp-themed dinner photo on my phone triggered a journey in which I tried to explore this gap in my consciousness. Shrimp Fever examines the intoxicated feeling of presence that later fades into a blackout. By feeding an AI with images of the shrimp fever portrait, the gaps between the photo angles were randomly filled by the AI engine, generating morphed faces to complete a side-to-side sequence. This process, where new, fictional information is created to bridge visual gaps, mirrors the way our brain often fills memory gaps with altered or imagined details. The sequence is presented using a Pepper’s ghost effect inside a bell jar.
